On the menu Dragon fruit on the board a new color scheme...

If you wonder what inspires an Interior Designer...wonder no longer...anything...

Native to Mexico, Central America, and South America, dragon fruit is also called pitaya or dragon crystal.  It is the fruit of several cactus species.

They blooms only at night; the large white fragrant flowers of the typical cactus flower shape are among those called "moonflower" or "Queen of the Night".

Sweet pitayas have a creamy pulp and a delicate aroma.

It is also grown as an Ornamental plant, used in gardens as a flowering vine, and a house plant indoors.

They have a slightly reminiscent of watermelon; it has some uses in folk medicine.

Plain and simple, look at that image and tell if nature is not inspiring.

Well at my house, they are going to be part of diner tonight with panko herb crusted lobster in a sweet reduce wine house…DELISH!!!

I recycle...I wear Melissa

The shoe that was born out of a love for art, design, technology and sustainability.

Created in 1979 Melissa has fascinated girls across many continents. Over 50 million pairs of Melissa plastic shoes were manufactured in the last 25 years and 20 million pairs of the Melissa shoe have walked their way to 80 different countries, leading the way in smart style and must have footwear fashion.

Since it’s launched, Melissa has never stopped reinventing itself. From furniture to jewelry, the global influenced by leading designers who needs no introductions such as Jean Paul Gaultier, Gaetano Pesce, Vivienne Westwood, J. Maskrey, Brothers Fernando and Humberto Campana has created a vanguard concept in the footwear market.

Melissa is part of objects of desire, objects of sustainable, living comfortable, incredible works of structural design, and sweet smelling.

And here is how Melissa the bubble gum scents plastic shoes are changing the world.

By using mono-materials and an exclusive thermoplastic technology, Grendene is leading the way for sustainable practice for design, fashion, and manufacturing. All Melissa overstock styles are recycled into next season’s collection; the plastic shoes are created with a zero waste philosophy. Melissa recycles 99.9% of factory water and waste.  Using Melflex, a malleable plastic developed exclusively for Grendene, is hypoallergenic, odorless, neutral and natural molds easily to your foot. One of the great assets, Melflex retains these amazing properties when it’s recycled.

During my backpacking trip to Europe last summer, I walked my "Melissa" to the core where I literally couldn’t walk anymore.

I chose the zigzag model shoe by the Campana Brothers, very light and incredibly comfortable… melissa took all the steps with me for fifteen days. Three countries and 8 cities later, we have been through great adventures and the most amazing sites we ever seen.

Spain, France, and Italy with its unique meshes and perforations Melissa zigzag was the perfect pick for hot summer walks.

The Prado Museum in Madrid, Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, Vieux Port de Marseille in Marseille, English Way in Nice, Monte Carlo Casino in Monaco, Duomo Cathedral in Milan, Louvre Museum in Paris and my Melissa steered me to all.

The memories of the most amazing experience of my life will be kept in my heart forever. Memories I shared with my Melissa.
